Let them get killed, thats one less stupid person around to reproduce........................
Thanks for the backup! ... One might say Travis Pastrana is stupid and dangerous but the general consensus is that he's a badass. He does much more dangerous "stupid" AWESOME stuff than riding around on the back of a truck. Besides, Mexicans do it all the time!
Do you at least have a 5-point harness system back there.
Got a pair of handles bolted down He decided that he didn't want to be strapped down if something did happen. Seat belts might would be good if the was some sort of cage in place.

I dont know if thats a good idea, it would be way cooler to see someone go shootin out of the seat and do a coupe flips in the air, and land on the ground , and go "wow, im safe" than all of the sudden the truck lands on them..

The "hey watch this" would come before they take off... the "wow I'm safe" is because he thought he was in the clear when he got away from the rig when somethin happens. all wile not realizing the truck is about to crush him anyways... lol
anyway, cool trip whats the damage report on trucks?
I blew a hub up front on the red truck.
Drive shaft twisted in half on the brown stepside
The yota's tie rod broke in half on the drive home, bet that was exciting
I probably do dumber sheot than you'll even think of doing, but I do it safely. I'm not trying to knock you or make you feel bad or anything, it's just too easy to take the right precautions when you're having fun for you to not do them! We're always hearing about someone getting hurt or dead out there on the trails/mud pits/rocks/dunes/whatever and besides the obvious pain of losing someone, it gives us all a bad image as a bunch of inbred idiot ****tards (see cheeto for example) with no regard for safety. It's bad for the sport and it gets more places closed and more regulations thrown at us because of the "liberal" ideals that everyone needs to be protected from themselves. (and I use that term VERY loosely). I just don't want to see you or anyone you know getting hurt or dead because you're "too cool" to take the right precautions. I mean, your tires are/were in a college dorm, I know you've got to have at least a little bit of sense in your head man lol. Hell, I got a full roll cage with a family safety bar put in my bronco while on 36s and had, I don't know, maybe 90hp?? I wear safety glasses at work, I wear them when I'm working on my bronco (most of the time). I mean, I've been guilty of not taking the safe route, but come on man a seat bolted to your flatbed with grab handles?!
I was pulling my buddy in SC around the yard with a 4 wheeler while he was in a dryer. We were drunk as all get out, but he still put on a helmet and a bullet proof vest (lmfao!). You've been lucky so far, and hell odds are if you keep doing these things with no safety in mind you may not ever get dead, but you have to ask yourself if it's really worth the risk?
Just like the tinian and his truck being supported by a tree. I know someone who did the same thing and the tree branch broke!! Luckily no one was under/on the truck when it happened, but what if they were? What if his buddy was over helping out and he had to go explain to his gf why he wasn't coming home tonight? Is it really worth it? I don't want to call anyone out, but I know a lot of you are just joking about these things and wouldn't do it yourselves, but I wish there would be some more backlash about this because you don't know who is going to be reading this and think it's a perfectly safe thing to do because some members were like "whatever..". I know i'm sounding like a damn broken record here, but I it just worries me. I keep tellin my buddy with his bbf ranger he needs a roll cage the way he thinks it's going to be running in the pits with those kinds of speeds. Anyway, I'll stop rambling now, ... (i talk a lot with my back pain medicines ..)
