I bought some stuff called "sulfur substitute" from Autozone formulated for ULSD. Anyone ever use this stuff? or is it snake oil? Just wandering. My trucks an 03 it has a build date of 02 though?
Thank You for any Info.
I for one would definitely not use it. Just use a well recommended fuel lubricant such as stanadyne, power service or opti-lube. Your engine is too expensive and picky to play games with it.

It's probably does not contain "sulfur", but is a fuel conditioner which adds lubricity. Some marketing whack job figures the public knows about the sulfur removal and thinks it will sell his product. The stuff might be fine, might be safe, but you would have to compare ingredients with a known fuel conditioner. And since I already know they are lying to me, I am not interested in their product. Just get the stuff right next to it on the shelf called Diesel Kleen. Grey bottle for summer, white bottle for winter.
