Thanks for taking and sharing the pictures. Interesting semi-floating rear frame set-up!

You guys are sure fun :-). So much solid knowledge to witness. Dad had a 56 ford 1 1/2 and a 64 ford gravel truck (5 yard) with a old 360 in it, which I held for a while. PERSONALITY PLUS in these old rigs!

Hard to tell from the pics, do the rocker arm covers also seal over the intake maniflod at the head? If so FE/FT, although FT's I'm familiar with have a different wateroutlet set-up than the one in your pick. More like this 391FT, but maybe early versions had a different set-up?, or it's a 330 FE?:

rb- Yes, I believe they do. I guess the only way to properly find out is pull the numbers on the engine. Where would they be located?

F6Guy- I live in Lafayette but my dad lives in Iota and thats where I keep my trucks. The truck is in Basile, La. If you know where DI's restaurant, it is about a 1/4 mile away from there.

i am very familiar with DIs, I used to go there alot to eat crawfish and listen to the french bands. its been a while since ive been that way, the guy that leases my dads land farms crawfish on it so they are free to eat, and the chank a chank is on a cd now. But yeah I know the area pretty good. That would make a sweet rig what are your plans for it. are you going to mardi gras in mamou this year? Im sure you are probably sick of hearing it by now but WHO DAT!!!

Cajunhcm~
We were down in the Big E a few weeks back visiting the wife's uncle and family. The wknd the Saints found out they were going to the Bowl. People were pretty excited then, can't imagine after they won.

Any progress on the truck? Going back looking at your pics, if you can get the details off the decal in this pic, it should help you ID the engine.
