I also have an 05 3500 D-Max 4WD. I bring this up because I can chip it so easily. But what do I do about the 7.3's? I love my F250, the F350 is going to be sold or used a doner truck for a dump truck. I know about exhaust and intake, but there is nothing else?
You guys are the experts so let me know. Please dont bust me too much for my Chevy on here.....LOL
The biggest improvement you can do I would say is replace the down pipe and exhaust from ATS. the stock pipe is crushed in 2 spots and realy chokes the engine off.

I still steam when i see that pic, i cant believe that it would be seen as acceptable, yes i know the power stroke was coming out later that year etc etc, but damn come on! Get that twisted POS out of there and you will see a massive difference. If you are running full strength turbo, you can get a propane injection system and/or the water-methanol injection. They are "smart/Dumb" trucks, they dont need all of the computers and wiring to go wrong, essentially it is a tank and a tough nut to crack. Those chips are awesome but usually get people into trouble. I still cringe when i see that pic of the PSD that was cranking out over 1000hp and the engine let loose destroying itself. The transmission was from a guy that dares you to break them and so instead the guy destroyed his engine hahaha. anyone have that pic? I tried searching again.
