Was getting a pretty loud "bang" noise every time I hit a bump. Dealer said it was suspension links so had them swapped out. That did the trick for about 15,000 miles but banging is back, so I'm assuming that they're "**** up" again.
Is there an aftermarket solution here or something else (better shocks?) that I should consider here? I have tools and a lift (although one of my GTOs is occupying it now), so I can do the swap myself.
Truck is a 2003, 7.3 4x4. 103k miles. Tires are just a tad larger than stock (fit on the stock wheels and clear wheelwells).
I'd get it up on the lift and see what's going on. It's possible the bushings in the end links went bad again - but it could also be the main sway bar bushings. A fairly recent post had a recommendation to check the body mounts as well - that noise was coming up around the driver's feet area.
