LOL! I think for most people it's what you see in those dirty videos LOL.

You know if you really knew what you were doing you could use a 4bbl intake with a TBI/Mega Squirt, and have the best of both worlds. You can even buy 4bbl throttle bodies. If you look hard enough you might be able to find complete aftermarket EFI. Then you could probably run all the power you want to run.

Of course most of the TBI stuff will be based on GM's TBI, so for some people thats a no go, but from everything I have seen from my buddies who have Chevys with TBI is really simple, easy to mess with, and reliable. People do it on AMC V8's so I know you could do it on 300 6 both have Ford ignitions. I know Holley used to make a complete EFI kit I think it was TBI 2bbl and 4bbl versions I belive. There is also an EFI kit I saw in a magazine that looks like a polished Holley carb, but it was very expensive.

It goes great anyhow! Just don't scare us anymore with the .22 between the eyes thing. I don't know about ol greyghost tho. haven't talkted to him in a while.

Look at me, a carb'd 300 owner coming into an EFI thread and potentially hijacking it so bill and I can BS. we'd better find another thread to do that in bill. I can see where this might be going.

Never said I wanted him to change, I was simply making an observation. I like ole billy bob just how he is.

When are you going to make a bumper man? yes that means you 9.ford.5! just going around with a slightly bent shiny chrome stocker.....the nerve....

yeah i was and still kinda toying around with a turbo...but im too lazy and i dont have the money...so ill just stick with the engine rebuild that the truck NEEDS then throw some added goodies at it while im in there...

if you look in the blow by thread in this section you will see why i need the rebuild LOL...

im gonna start as soon as i get my tranny/t-case situation stable LOL...once thats done im gonna start on it...probably be driving around with no bumper fo a while so i can build and design without having to take the bumper off everytime...i already know where im gonna get my 12000 lb winch from LOL found them the other day while i was getting some seals for my NP205 hehe $700 for a 12,000# winch...thats pretty damn good

I hear that, that's pretty much how my project is going along for instance:
1 Had no radio or speakers turned into interior overhaul (somewhat)
2 Rear frame rot turned into taking the bed off adding a Bronco tank and a Pierce dump kit.
3 Front u-joint turned into a complete frontend rebuild including 3.73 gear change
4 now I gotta do the rear end and swap out the old 3.08's
Never ends
