I have a 99 f250 super duty 4x4, w a 5.4. I just put a new engine in about 5 months ago, and my service engine soon light wont go away. Its saying-"lack of 02 switches-bank 2 sensor 1". I cant figure out what it could be, ive heard alot of different possibilities but not wanting to mess w it when its 20 outside unless i know for sure? Iam also wondering if that could be causing the truck to "jerk" when im getting on the highway. Its kinda like the trannys slippin, but not sure if that code is the cause of that issue also?

Sounds like a wire to a sensor was missed. I would suspect an O2 sensor, bank 2 sensor 1 wasn't hooked up.
As for the problem when accelerating, when this happens does the exhaust note sound funny? If so you may have a partially clogged catalytic converter.

thanks for the reply, the service engine soon light came on right after i put some fuel injector cleaner in the tank. It ran horrible for at least 2 tanks probably 3-4? The lights been on since? How can you test the cat to see if theyre bad or can you? Another thing it did, I just got on the highway and was doing about 65-70 and the overdrive button on the steering column was flashing, so i pulled over and read the o.m, it said to reset it, turn the vehicle off and restart it. It went away and hasnt been on since that day? This truck has become a huge money pit for as you can see by now.

If your O/D light was flashing then you have(had?) a transmission code present. A basic code reader will not read these; you need one capable of reading this type of code.
