Intercooler coldside tubing

Anyone have non stock , non crimped coldside tubing installed? If so where can I get one, I know Cobbs sells them but $300.00 wow. If you have one any noticeable differences, surely there must be benefits.

Im guessing it wouldnt help a stock truck. Probably help a tuned truck but no idea how much. Cobbs does a lot of dyno work. Did he give you an idea how much it would help?

I followed a thread on the Spartan site. A fellow had a 2 piece tube from Elite said there were noticeable differences, not sure in what... I have a dpf/cat delete 4" down pipe into 5" exhaust and run an Edge Race tuner AFE intake and all I do is tow a 5th wheel whith the truck. Looking at the crimp in the tube I can't imagine a 3" non crimped tube wouldn't help. Increased flow through the intercooler has have some benefit..
