still wont start
my 89 f 250 still wont start. well i shouldn't say that it starts but it wont stay runnning. i replaced the whole dash, igniotion control module, and relays. but it still wont run. i was told to take the computer out of my parts truck and put into my truck. theres only one problem the parts trucks got a 5.8 and my truck has a 5.0. so it only makes sence thast the computer wouldnt work. and when i hooked up my turck to find codes with my computer it wouldnt put out any codes.. please help

If you are now getting fuel as you were not in your last post I would say now you have a bad PIP sensor or the computer out of the other 89 is bad.
Are you getting spark when it quits?
If not unplug the computer and see if you get spark then.

Have you checked your computer grounds? Pins 16, 20, 40, 49, and 60 from your computer are all grounds. Any one of them being broken can cause the problem you're describing. The ground connections tend to break down over time. It's generally a good thing to connect them all directly to the negative battery terminal.
