Dome Light Issue

<TABLE width="100%" border=0 itxtvisited="1"><TBODY itxtvisited="1"><TR itxtvisited="1"><TD vAlign=top width="100%" itxtvisited="1">I have a 2001 7.3 F 350 4door, and the dome light will not go off. It just wants to stay on all the time. Tried the WD-40 trick did not work replaced the relay and that did not work. Any ideas

I had the same problem with my 02 and fixed it with WD40 and worked the crap out of the door latch. Sounds like you tried it aleady so you may have to tear into the door.

I had the same issue. The problem was the passengers side door latch mechanism. If I recall right I just cleaned it and lubed it and put it back together. It melted the lens out from the heat. So the other thing I did was place a LED light in the interior in case it happened again. Problem solved.
