BW 1356 rebuild
Most of the time on the road it wouldn't engage and make a clicking noise (from what seemed to be the transfer case) other times it would engage after making a thud noise. 4L seemed easier to engage than 4H. It seemed to easily engage when completely raised.
I tore out the transfer case, found some powder like metal shavings and some wear on the pump bracket, where it meets the case, and on the cog(?) that sits on the top/rear of the passenger side/rear shaft;

I'm not sold on the fork pads and linkage on the outside of the transfer case either but anything else I should be looking for?
