Hi all, I bought a stock am/fm radio for my 73 and somewere between stupidity and now I cut the harness to install an after market radio. I thought I would of been smarter at the time not to cut the wires. Well I was not. Now I do not have any idea which wires from the back of the radio go to which wires in the dash. The speaker wires are pretty easy to figure out, it is the other power wires I can not grasp. Any help would be great. I have decided I want the "stock" look again. The old radio was just am I do remember that. LOL
The YELLOW with BLACK stripe is hot-in-ACC (accessory). This is keyed power for the original radio. The BLUE with RED stripe is dash illumination - it would have powered the backlight in your old radio. Those are the only two connectors in the original pigtail. The original radio grounded through its mounting bracket.
