'01 SuperCrew no start, intermittent

Help. OK,first thing in the morning go to start and engine cranks good but no start. Tried 3 or 4 times same result. Tried spare key, no luck. Tried again 5 mins later and starts fine. No start in the afternoon, same symptoms. "Theft" light is flickering, "Service engine soon" , also with key on Odometer illuminates then goes to all bars across instead of numbers. Turned key on-off, on-off several times then starts fine. Tried generic scanner = no codes. I do have access to Rotunda unit. Could it be something wrong with the PATS system?
Any other ideas... ?

I don't think this is an IAC problem, but you can eliminate it as the cause by pressing the gas pedal slightly when you try to start. If it starts, the IAC is bad.

It's not the IAC valve. Wrong symptom.

Replace your PCM power relay first. It's inexpensive and can cause your exact symptom due to unstable power being fed to the PCM.
