Need prope name for a part....
on a 2000 Ranger 4x4. What is the heavy plastic sheild/ shroud called that protects the bottom of the transmission cooler that sets right ahead of the radiator. The part bolts to the frame on both side of the cooler. Mine is broken off and I need a new one. Are there any out there that are metal instead of plastic? The name of the part and where I can find one would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, funtwohunt

You could, go to the local Ford dealer and have the parts department look it up to see what it's called and if it's available. If yours is missing or broken you could make a replacement with aluminum or thin steel sheet metal and maybe make it a little different so it won't break or come loose so easily.

Truck starts by itself when you hook up battery cables
just changed my starter put a new one on, now it wants to start by itself when hooking up the battery cables. Please help any idea's would be great. Thanks, Richard
