Today my truck started running rough especially at idle. It feels like its a misfire but there is no CEL or code. The roughness goes away around 2K RPMS which i normally drive below for gas reasons. But the rough running is still there. Possibly plugs? Or Coil packs? Or something im missing there is a bad vibration that you feel becasue of what seems like a misfire.
Ok i will check that if it is bad should i just get a new piece of it or something. It is more constant now and wont stop the truck is running bad till 2000 RPMS then it is better, i was gonna do my plugs but should i start with that rubberr piece?
Well ran over to my mechanic and the elbow is fine. they actually look fairly new. Im gonna check and regap and problky swap plugs tomorrow along with a scan tool to try and oick something up.
Could i figure out which cylinder by disconnecting the coil packs one by one. Disconnect one if the motor changs then not that one, plug it back in and then repeat for all plugs till find the one where nothing changes wether its plugged in or not
check your PCV it may not be seated correctly, also pop it out and shake it, if it rattles, it is good, if no rattle it could be clogged, spray a can of throttle body cleaner on all the vacuum lines and see if on is leaking.
Started to replace the plugs today ending up to only be able to get the front 4 out. I cant get a ratchet in there to get the rear 4. Any ideas? PCV is fine checked it and they have been replaced not long ago. No codes still.

use a different size extension and try some swivels
I have tried im gonna try again tommorrow. Just been having trouble getting to it. I have only had the truck a month and am having quiet a few problems and im losing fait.
I just did my wifes for the first time and it just took a little time but was easy. all I used was a ratchet (3/8), the spark plug socket, and a 6 in wobble extension.
the wobble extension is just like the regular extension but the tip where the socket connects is made a little different so that the socket kinda dangles off the end. I always stuck the socket with the extension attached into the whole first then put the ratchet on the extension.
the wobble extensions set I bought for my son at harbor freight for like $10. made in china but it did the job i needed it to.
