Fuel filter

I deleted the factory fuel pump (HFCM) when I installed my AirDog II 130/75. Does anyone know if you can buy the upper small bowl filter separately?? If so where? Thanks

2004 Excursion, EB 6.0L
195,000 miles
MBRP turbo back lost cat
AFE Stage II intake
SCT X3 w/ Spartan Tunes
Old Edge 1000 for EGT and Boost readings,
EGR Delete RCD before the $$ was lowered.
Head Studs and gaskets
AirDog II 130/75
18" Eagles w/ Michelin tires

To my knowledge they are a package deal. It's what I have to do. If you find a place that sells the secondary filter seperately let me know.

I'm going to check with the local IH dealer. THey have good inventory and great countermen. Keep you posted.

I can get you WIX individual filters both top and bottom. Let me know.

sorry, but I would not recomend using wix, or any other "Will Fit" filters for that matter. After Market ones are know to cause problems with these trucks. MotorCraft, international, or racor only.

Short answer. Yes.

Other than the future upgrade potential of the AD II, the main reason for removal was that I was dang tired of the filter cap R&R during oil changes. I don;t know about others but original HFCM location on my 04 Excursion 4x4 was a pain in the a...

I gave up on that fight and just drop the front of the front drive shaft down

2-1/2 feet of extensions works great for me. No driveshaft to losen up, and no fuel fallin on you because your 2-1/2 feet away.

Ahhhh the joys of having an 8'' lift, driveshaft angle makes it MUCH easier to access filter.
