For the temp sender locations.

There are some alternator wiring diagrams listed in this link, which alternator did you install?

Tow pro has installed a new alt and his battery light is still on on his 93 with a 130 amp alt and internal reg.
He needs some help from you guys with experience with these alt's and can't start his own thread yet.

Ok here is the wiring diagram for the 130 amp internal regulator alternator from the fordfuelinjection link above.

So looking at that, the wire for the I terminal must be loose at the alternator.

Do you have an amp gauge or a volt meter in the dash?

How many volts is the gauge showing when the engine is running?

Try unplugging the wire on the temp switch for the light and see if the temp light goes out.

That sounds lie a broken wire under the dash or a dead gauge.

Will the engine start and run?

Not sure where Ford tied the volt meter into the power circuits at.

For a volt meter, you can supply power from the ignition switch, no need to run clear out to the alternator.

Knowing Ford, I bet there is a wire out near the starter solenoid that I am going to say will be light green and red, that is not making a connection.

And that wire could even be at the alternator connections, and should be on the I terminal looking at the drawing.

On the external regulators, it hooks to the I terminal of the regulator.
