joined to ask - need tailgate

hi all

anyone have a tailgate thatll fit my truck for sale?

mine is an oldstyle 1997 f250

not particular about the colour, as long as its in decent shape

Try checking out your local junkyards. There should be plenty of tailgates in there. You can also try car-part.com and see about getting one shipped.

not keen on shipping one when i KNOW someone local has one...

yeah i checked hwy9 wreckers but they always say my trucks too old

There has to be a junkyard near you where older trucks are sent. Many junkyards deal only with newer vehicles but plenty of old cars and trucks get sent to a junkyard somewhere.
