how many?
how many 302 engines did ford produce for the 1968 model year, i have a 68 302 block and i was wondering how uncommon the engine is and how much it is worth, it is built with 68 shelby gt350 j code heads, a comp 268 high energy cam and an aluminum intake and holley 600 4bbl, all other parts are new except for the pistons, rods and the crank which are all stock and matching for the 68 model year.

302s went into almost everything.
Not sure about those heads, but this here:

shows C8OE -J to be nothing special, just a regular head, no screw in studs or big valves. (If that's what you have)
So you have a nice 302, but how many miles are on it--original pistons????
