im plan to install a mustangII ifs from helix in my 56. If i install this will i be able to fit my 429 in the front end? also if iadd the power steering will there still be enough room.
yes, but you will need to use a rear sump oil pan, pickup tube and oil pump from a mid 80's and newer truck to clear the crossmember. the front sump pan won't fit.
also go with the biggest springs you can get. i used 410# springs for my 60 with a 460 and they are just about the perfect size.
the power steering should work no problem. the only pain is the routing of the hoses to keep them out of the way of everything.
i tried to look up helix o the hamb but never found anything about helix at all if that is a bad brand what company shouldi look at? ive tried to find comparisons and reviews online but no luck at all
Had to have a look at this, it appears that Helix is part of the Hoffman group and if anything they are one of the most expensive manufacture / suppliers for their other stuff.
there was another thread recently about a 460 fit... which is the same block... you could have interference issues with steering linkage and headers..if that is your plan...
For MII style suspension conversion kits, two of the best companies are Heidt's and TCI, imho. Both are excellent quality, and priced about the same, too. I would put either of their products on my own vehicles.

yes this is one of the article i seen, there`s a few of them, one about the arms being welded crooked, after seing these posts on this brand it kinda scared me away from their product.
