Oil analysis...

What do I do to get an oil analysis? First of all how do you get a small amount of oil without making a huge mess? What do you put the oil in to have it analized and where do you send it? Thanks, I'd really like to see what they say is going on inside my motor.

Request a free test kit from Blackstone lab. They will send you a container for your oil. Blackstone Labs

I take my sample using the Fumto value when I change my oil.

That's an easy one. Go to Blackstone's website (a sponsor here) and fill our the form for a free test kit. http://www.blackstone-labs.com/free-test-kits.php

Next time you change your oil, remove the plug and let it drain for several seconds. Then grab the little jar Blackstone sends you and stick it under the drain and fill it up. Then just let the rest drain into your oil change pan. Wrap the bottle up in the packaging they provide and send a check or use a credit card for your analysis.

Once you get it back, post it on here and some of the oil experts will chime in and tell you what all those numbers mean.

Edit: Looks like I'm slow tonight.
