Cavitation is a real thing.
And when it bites, it bites hard.
Due to the nature of how cavitaion happens, it would most likely hit a turbo motor first.
Then next in line are engines that work hard.
Cylinder wall vibrations from high cylinder pressures during combustion is the basic cause.
But that don't mean it can't happen to an engine that is not worked hard every day.
And since something as easy as the brand of antifreeze you use can prevent cavitation, why take a chance?
