What are the circumstances when this occurs? Are you driving by a Krispy Kreme with the 'Hot Donuts Now' light on? A gun shop? Cabelas? Camping World?
My truck abruptly cuts out too. I think its a steering/throttle interconnect problem.
Seriously though, check egr valve. If that's not it, I'd take a look at the turbo vanes.
