who really cares about "high boy" really. its just a tiny bit higher than the other trucks. ooooohhh aaahhhh its sooo high. all in all its just a stock truck that sits a tiny bit higher. its like those guys who put in those 1 inch body lifts and say oh yeah its a lifted truck as if it was the ultimate fabbed up ready for offroad machine. but really they were just too scared and poor to do something cool and love to destroy puddles and spin out on wet grass only to talk about it like ppl care. im not trying to be a jerk but i always think who cares when the high boy thing comes up. its just a stock truck. pretty average. dont get me wrong i love the 73-79 trucks but they are all the same thing to me. there are cool ones and then there are the old man grandpa'd out, way to much chrome, huge mud flaps, pukey greens, purples, barfey yellow and brown 2 toned paint jobs with zero lift sporting a triple roll bar, ugly red christmas bows on the grill during christmas holidays, with a smelly moldy interior funk bags, with ash trays full of dirty cigarette butts to even mention around here. ok ok now i just went a lil too far i know. but if you love these trucks like i do just build one that has some style and build it slow and properly. and yeah there will always be some guy being there to critique your ever word and see that missing bolt there in the background pic that you have out for some reason completely off topic from the pic you posted....with him blurting out something dumb and thinking he is so smart and witty like the greatest human specimen he is and gods gift to 73-79 forums. so to all the "wheres your front driveshaft bud...hehe" kinda guys out there. relax.... and you dont have to point everything out. just enjoy the trucks and the learning on here and meeting new ppl. and hey if you think im just some idiot who doesn't know anything thats fine. check my entire picture gallery. not much on there but it basically sums up what i think about these great trucks. i've had mine since i was 16 and i'm 27 now. this is the 3rd time i have built it and from the frame up. if only you saw the newest pics i have......haha. my truck is a 79 cab, 75 box,76 chassis, 79 dana 60 front axle, 2004 super duty procomp 8" springs, 14 bolt rear end....(waiting for that dude i was telling you about comments here)...always feel like i have to explain myself on these things..., so ps: 1 ton rear diff, readily available, cheap detroits/disc brakes kits, pinion support bearing....and so on, 99 f250 "stop on a dime" haha, hydro boost brakes with 49" irok tires, 2006 40 20 40 seats, custom far from stock hot rod blue with pearl and 2009 oxford clearcoat white (ford colour). basically your truck "is what it is", and it doesn't matter what you lable it as. heck, mine should just be called frankenstein i guess. anyways, great site. thats my rant for today. and if you actually read this entire thing i just wrote, good for you you are just as bored as me tonight i see haha
i did read it lol and just as lol and bad *** truck man
