I actually gave up on the idea when i found some kb149-030 pistons.
they have a comp hieght of 1.67" but are domed and if you could figure out the wrist pin problem you could get 11 to 1 with them. Modding the piston would be hard and i cannot find those bushings for 351 pins on 400 rods everyone talks about.

but i am all game of hearing if you can make the 390 slugs work
