on my trailer conection hook up
i have tail lights but no brake lights or directional lights. [my regular truck lights work fine] i hear they are on a seperate fuse. can someone please tell me which fuse i need to check..thanks
I have a '98 Expy and I had the same problem. My wiring harness was faulty way up under the truck, far enough up the harness that I said to hell with it and tapped into the other lights for the power.
In the owners manual there are diagrams for the fuse boxes, pretty straight forward.
Had same problem with my expy , if you have the owners manual you will find a diagram of the fuse boxes in there. the fuse box you are looking for is under the hood on the drivers side. its a mini fuse in that box. hope this helps you. if you dont have the manual reply back and i can tell exactly which mini fuse it is ,,mark
I had a similar problem. My trailer lighting wiring harness shorted out against the fuel filler pipe. Spliced them back together and moved them away from the pipe and zip tied them to the frame.
