My truck only came with the 4 pin connector, and I am looking to get the OEM 7 pin harness that comes with our trucks...ya know the one that just plugs into the factory harness up in the frame rail. Where would one go about getting a part# for this?
Thanks
Rich
I got one from Wallyworld, pluged right in on my '99 F150. you could aways pay 3 times the price and get it from your dealer. have you checked with a truck accessory store? or trailer place? maybe even an RV place?
so, are you saying Walmart won't have the plug & play?
NO NO sorry for the confusion, wal-mart WILL have the plug and play as well as all auto parts stores OR you can get the universal wire yourself plug. At least all the WM Ive been to have the plug and play set ups.

Yes 60 is a little high BUT... what is your time worth on poking and prodding, cutting and soldering wires? That could take well over an hour AND need 2 people, one to step on the brake, hit reverse, L and R turns etc while you are under the truck poking wires even if you use the wire color guide on that site just to dbl check colors. OR you can crawl under unplug the factory harness, put this in line, add some dielectric grease clip back together and add a screw for the ground wire in say 15 minutes TOPS, and all look factory and maintain all factory wires integrity. Just a thought...
If you choose to wire yourself, Ill post the color code chart if you need it.
