Gauge problems

Just got this 300$ 89 F150 cab only no box truck. Mint condition, 56,000 original miles.

The Alt. gauge doesn't work at all, and I don't think the gas gauge is right, the others seem to be fine and working right.

Gas gauge seems to go down when the ignition switch is on but onces shut off, slowy goes back up (takes hours) and driving down the road it goes up and down from 1/4 tank to Empty to 1/4 and so on.

For the Alt gauge not to work at all, i'm guessing an unpluged wire?

1989 F150 300 Straight-6

Thanks!

Gas gauge is fixed, float bowl coroded through so the bowl was in the buttom of the tank. New tank, and sender unit, works great now, really sensitive!

Didn't bother yet with the Volt meter.
