Hey guys. I posted this in the dentside forum also, not sure who might have the answer. I need the compressed coil height of Deaver 6" coils. I'm setting up my suspension at static height and need to figure out if some brackets will need to be moved. Right now there is no cab or front sheetmetal bolted on. The coils have a slight bow to the front that I don't want. I know it will compress some but might not be enough. Thank you
Alright, I found the compressed height. It is somewhere between 20-20.5" Also figured out the coil bow problem once I had that height. My upper coil buckets are both 1/4" to far back and castor is at 2*+. (I was shooting for 4*) I can either move the coils the 1/4" forward or shorten my upper arm thus rotating the axle back where I planned. I plan on hydro assisting so I am wondering if 2* will be fine? That will help with the pinion angle and all I would have to do is move my coil buckets. Anyone got some input?
