Restoring a grill shell
Just picked up a mostly straight grill shell. It is realy oxidized and was wondering how I would go about restoring the finish. I also though about powder coating it a bright silver color. Its not nice enough to have chromed.

Not sure how much help this will be, but If it's only stained or dulled out I would try taking 1500 grit sand paper and wet sanding until smooth. then I would com back and polish w/ a chrome or aluminum polish. It works! But it won't fix deep scratches
