Just to clarify....
I recently posted a thread on here asking where I could get a new 4WD actuator. I got some good responses, but I need to make sure that is the actual name of the part I need. I took the hub off, which was rounded off completely. I got a new hub, but I also need the part that the hub meshes into when 4wd is engaged. Its pretty rounded out too, and I don't want to put the new hub on a worn out gear and ruin it. Is this the actuator? I can't tell how involved the part is because I haven't torn it out yet, but its the gears that are around the axle which meshes in with the hub when 4wd is engaged. If someone could help me out with the name of this part (and possibly some pictures to clarify further), I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!
