Too may persons in the pot fail to realize with the exception of ND that your truck is a 64...........Again as we discussed use a 4x4 or have yours re-cored to a four or three core. Or go the route i went an install an 80 up 2 core cross-flow.
The new modern cores will do miracles over the old original core.
I dont have any pics of that install but can grab a few.
Check with Ron Davis Racing Radiator here in Glendale, Az. They built the final radiator for my 29 Model "A". I had a Walker radiator in it that got hot, took it out and had a local company make a new aluminum radiator and it still got hot. I then pulled the heads off, had them reworked, and put a different block in it to make sure that nothing was wrong with the engine. It still got hot. I got my money back from the last radiator and had Ron Davis make one for me and haven't had a problem since.
They use a wide 2 core with 18 fins per inch instead of the normal 14 fins.
They used to, I assume they still will, build a custom radiator if they have one to build from.
They built mine for my 63 as a 2 pass cross flow with 2 electric fans mounted to a shroud. I haven't driven the truck yet so I can't say for sure how well this one works but with it running in the garage it doesn't get hot.
I hope that this might help.
