so ive got a ranchero thinking it is some where in the 70s and a i think 72 high boy frame i want to put the ranchero body on the frame any one see any complications or am i just dreaming thanks for your input
Well of course there will be some complications. Its a custom job, your going to have to fabricate stuff. Seems like a pretty rare build to me so I dont know what kind of help you will get here. Course I dont know ***** about Rancheros but hey, thats just me.
Sounds like a pretty sweet build, unique for sure. I would just do a little homework. Maybe measure the distance between frame rails on a Ranchero then on a highboy to see what kind of alignment issue you might have.
Check your wheel base and track width, too. This will give you some idea of how much altering you might be in for. Wheel base can be changed. track width is more work. might be easier to get different axles . Like Holiver31 says, do your homework. Anything can be done if you are willing and able to put in the effort and momey.

It better be a 1972/79 Ranchero, otherwise you are opening a can of worms.
1960/71 Ranchero's are unit-bodies (the chassis/body is an integral unit). 1972/79's are body on frame.
