Just bought 6637 kit and DP-tuner from Riffraff

Great customer service BTW.

I am on the road to 20+ mpg now. I will eventually get a JW valvebody and associated gauges but this is a good start. I am home from Italy so I'll be able to add these parts quickly. I don't plan on towing or racing too much until I get the vb or gauges.

Very excited about the economy tune and the power output from it. 300rwhp/600rwtq and good fuel mileage is exciting.

The only other thing I want to buy during my trip home is heated/turn signal teloscoping mirrors for $200 but I can't seem to find a website that has both. Meh!

Take care!

20+ is a bit optimistic in my opinion, unless you mean strictly highway miles (absolutely zero city miles mixed in), unloaded, stock height, in a 2-wheel drive Ex.

I agree with you, Ill add if you live in the flatlands too and keep it under 65mph and highway tires

I should have mentioned I hit 18.5 going 70mph with just a 4 inch downpipe on a 400 mile road trip. Kept rpms under 2k. This was hand calculated. My tire pressure was 50psi. I added new General Grabber HTS tires, bumped the pressure up to 75psi (some of the best highway tires for rolling resistance btw). I have a 4 x 4 and had 2 passengers. The route was semi flat with gradual hills here and there. Just kept it under 2k. I think 20 is doable for the same trip if I were to do it again.

I guess under very specific conditions like you've posted, it might happen. But I thought you meant overall, generally speaking, you were gonna be expecting 20+ mile per gallon now with mixed city/highway driving.

Sorry. That's my fault.

This is my highway vehicle specifically. Long haul, road trips, towing. etc. I have my Jeep and Mustang for around town stuff, unless I do need to pick up large items.

I did do a 200 mile trip with 50/50 highway, around town and I netted 16.5 hand calculated. I did let it idle twice for a long period of time since it was freezing outside and my wife took forever to get ready.

I can hit 20 - 21 mpg (hand calculated, the lie-o-meter says high 20's). This is on my 99% highway commute to and from work. Stock 2WD Ex, 68 - 70 MPH. Mileage starts dropping over 70 MPH.

Let me clarify my last post, that is summer MPG. I'm getting about 16-17 with winter blended fuels and more idling.

Your figures are pretty close to mine too... I'm running a bio-diesel / diesel mix though...

Thanks for the LMC link. They are 10 miles from my hometown and I like their layout on that link.

The LMC'S are a bit more than you wanted to spend and aftermarket. Ebay is usually the way to go. I picked up a set from ebay. Paddle style, cause thats what the misses likes, w/heat and turn.i already have heat so I might have to run a wire for the turn. I'll post back when I do it.
