O.k. so here's the plan. I have a 80 F100 body that has been gutted that once belonged to my mother, (after being passed around by my brothers, each of which started working on it and made matters worse). I found a 93 Bronco Nite, in pretty decent shape mechanically, although the body is fairly beat up. I've got this crazy notion of pulling the body off of the Bronco, putting the 80 cab and front clip on it, along with the interior(dash, seats). I know the Bronco is 12" shorter than the SWB, so I can either hack the bed which I don't think would look right, or I was considering some sort of stake bed, with dressed up wood side boards tappered the length of the bed. Any suggestions, comments?
is the Nite in that bad of shape?? those are some nice looking broncos.
puting a truck cab on a bronco frame has been done. you have to build a custom rear crossmember to mount the cab since it bolts up higher up. do a search on here
are you wanting to make a functional truck out of this setup? a flatbed would be nice or go with a tubed out rear section, 4 link it and wheel that beast
