shorty headers

I have a peice of a 88 lincoln mk 7 and was looking at the factory headers and thinking they may fit on my truck. The flanges look close if not the same for the manifolds that are on there. Anyone tried this?

They will bolt to the motor, but will not fit your stock exhaust, and they may hit the frame or starter or something.
