Gas Tank

So I am puttin in a new fuel tank because the old one had a hole in it! so I am right in the middle of putting the new tank on and am having trouble! I can't get the new tank to sit in right, the hose from the filler tube is bunching up and can't decide if I need to put it on the new tank, clamp it on and try to fit it on the filler tube, or vise versa. just need some help deciding!

I can't really remember but I think I put mine on the tank first and battled it that way.

I just did mine last night. Definitely start with the filler tube. Disconnect it from the body and it will be a lot easier. Mine was especially difficult because the genius that put the exhaust on, put the tailpipe in the way as well.
