HEATED SEATS
THE DRIVER SIDE HEATED SEAT ISN'T WORKING.
THE DRIVER SEAT GOT REAL HOT WHILE IN THE HEATING MODE THEN NO MORE HEAT.
ARE THERE 2 HEATING COILS? (UPPER/LOWER)
DO BOTH GO OUT?
ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRICATED.

Its a fairly easy fix. Take the seat out, take it in the house, pull the leather off and find the wire that burnt. COMMON issue! Soder the wires back together and put all back together. Did mine a year and half ago and still working great!

The element probably burned out, I suspect they act like most other heating elements and getting hotter than usual is a sign they are about to leave you. If they are wired in series then a closed short will drop the total resistance and feed too much amperage to the second and kill it as well. If they are in parallel, then the a short will increase the resistance and reduce the power going to other.
