but my cab is shorter right... would i just have to extended the pipe before the muffler
Yes and after it goes over the axle would have to be made longer on both sides in order for the tail pipes to come out where there supposed to be.
You wont know exactly what has to be done until you put it up under the truck.
The piece you cut off the front might be able to be cut in half and welded in on the tailpipes to make them longer.
