I redone the heads on my bronco 351m motor the problem I am running into is the torque specs on the rockerarms and the gapping of the rocker to springs can someone please help...everything on the motor is factory no upgrades if that helps
they also say look at the 302 spec also that why I am confused on which to go by. I used to have a shop manuel for the truck but lost it in a fire that had the exact specs with no confusion
The classic truck link in the post has the specs listed in it for you.
I dont think it was the 302 as I recall something was different but not sure what. Though the 351W did have alot/if not all of the similar torque specs
Hydraulic lifters do not require the gapping of the mechanical lifters, i.e. valve lash. So you torque the rockers to spec, unless you switched to a mechanical lifter cam from the factory standard hydraulic lifter cam...Then you would have to find the old 351C mechanical specs or the specs of the cam.
