I have a '74 F-100 with a 300 I-6 and 1-bbl carb. Does anyone know of a source for finding out where all the vacuum lines are supposed to fit? I have a Chilton's Manual and have looked in Haynes, but neither have been helpful in this area.
Also, do you know off the top of your head which beds will bolt onto this same truck (8' bed)? Or where I can find a plastic bedliner for it?
I can't help on the vac. lines, however, as to the truck bed question....it depends on whether you want functionality or originality. Any 8' bed between 67 and probably well into the 90's can be made to bolt up, but 73-79 would be the best range so that new bed would have the same body lines as your cab and bolts would line up well too. Either style bed would work too (Styleside or Flareside). I've seen many 80's style beds on the older trucks. The ones that look the best are the ones that are freshly painted to match the cab. I hope this helps.
