ford f550
Im lookin at a 1999 ford f550 flatbed. I like the truck but it is not a 4wd and thats what i need to use on the farm in tennessee. I want to know how much it will cost for me to convert it from a 2wd to a 4wd. thanks

That conversion isn’t real hard, a 4wd axle bolts in place of the F-450/550 straight tube front axle so that is the easy part
You’ll need a 4x4 transmission and transfer case and then mount the shifter
The present mid shaft can be shortened but you’ll need a donor front shaft or have one made
