Question Identifying '40 light switch wires

I am using a '40 light switch in my '46 restoration and don't have the operator's manual/ etc. in order to identify the 4 wires on the switch. They are color coded similar to a '46 switch that I have, but am not sure what they operate. Anyone out there with a manual that tells what the wires run? Thanks. phil.

I'll take stab, one for power, one for tail/parking lamps, one for headlight/taillight, other maybe a dome/dash lights?

Yellow/red go to headlights. Black/blue go to instrument panel lights switch. Red/yellow goes to the circuit breaker. Black are taillights. This is what it shows in a owner's manual I have from a '42 1 ton

Thanks gary, The light switch I have from my '46 has 5 wires, but seems to follow the same color codes you mentioned and I believe will carry over to the '40 one. I appreciate your help. phil.
