cold air intake
Just one question on these cold air intakes that you can buy for your type of vehicle. They sell these with ductwork to protect from engine heat yet they still attach the oil line or manifold bypass line. Does that not allow heat from the engine into the air?

cold air intake ( remember this is all my opinion, not anything that has proof ) is a load of crap that was a term made up by 'ricers' and the companies that made the parts to sell more product... in all reality i believe the whole purpose of a 'cool air intake' isnt so much a cooler air charge, but rather the intake tubing is a smoother entrance into the engine vs. the stock style, therefore letting the air come in with less turbulance into the engine... less turbulance means more air entering at a faster speed, therefore it would represent more a 'ram air' than a 'cold air' system (again these are my ways of thinking and not saying it is fact)
