302 to 460 engine swap
I have a 1987 f250 4x4 with a 302efi and 4 speed tranny. I was wondering what all would be involved with putting a 460 out of a 1996 f350 in it I have the complete truck but it is 2 wheel drive and an automatic and if anyone new where I could find a 460 bellhousing for the 4 speed tranny.

are you staying efi? why not use the entire wiring harness and engine/tranny from the 96. this will be the easiest and most reliable. also swap in the rear diff from the 96 unless its geared different.
