Stop lamp switch
Hello, I have a '93 with a problematic stop lamp switch. i noticed the brake lamps not working the other week, when I removed the stop lamp switch, the contacts were working, but it was as if the switch was not being made by the brake rod. i got a new switch, but it did not work either. Has anyone else had any trouble with the brake lamp switch, and if so, what was the remedy? I do not notice any problems with the brakes, but I want to make sure that the rod is actuating far enough.

hi have an 04 the the sw got stuck on !!!!! i took it off released it oiled it and it's been fine so far, it has a 1/16 " movement only that not a good design, any wear like your and it's over. thats a my dealings.
