where to put tachometer?

where to put tachometer?
i would like to put a tachometer in my truck and have no idea where to put it!
where are you guys putting yours?
i have one sitting nicely ontop of the steering column in my f100 that i would swap for the meantime since i'm restoring it, but thats not gonna fit there on the little truck. and i dont want to put it on the dash with sticky tape or velcro either because i'll look like a ricer.
if its a better idea to just swap the whole instrument cluster with one from another truck that has a factory tach can someone please enlighten me as to exactly what years and models i need to buy it from for a direct swap?

i screwed mine onto the top of the dash just offset to the right of the cluster.... tacky... no, not in my opinion, wired it directly into the harness goint into the cluster... gave me a good chance to change burnt bulbs in the cluster too
