So not sure if its the un normally cold weather we are having in GA or what but, today i started hearing this whinning noise along a kind of click. I think its coming from the belt tensioner but im not completelly sure..... any thoughts or sugestions would greately be apreciated.

To make sure its on the drive belt system you can take the belt off and start the engine [only run a minute or so]. If the sound is gone it could be the tensioner or idler.
My alternator bushings make a little noise when its this cold [below 25].
The click could be you A/C compressor kicking in and out when you have the defrost on.

i know its not the a/c cause i turned all that off to make sure. And ive narrowed it down to the alternator/alt pulley and or bearing or the idler im gonna check tension and all and maybe try a little bit of conditioner and see what happens

Dust gets in the bearings and causes squeaks and squeals. Did you pop the belt off?

Did you spray a little oil in the Alternator? Sometimes the brushes will make noise or the bearings.

You popped the belt and listened to it?
