OBD II code says insufficient flow to EGR, Wrong EGR Flow, I have replaced, with new, EGR, DPFE, EGR tube, smog pump and EGR Vacuum regulator. Vacuum hoses are fine no holes and im sure they are routed correctly. 1996 4.9l with 67K on it. The EGR tube and EGR had little to no carbon buildup. I think the wiring harness may be to blame. Any ideas, hints or moral support would be appreciated. I will not let this defeat me.
It might be time to invest in a Ford Electric-Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual aka EVTM. You need to meter the signals being sent back to the PCM. These manuals are available online, i.e. E-Bay as well as pirated from other sources (Bit Torrent).
Going to try cleaning the throttle body egr ports
first.I believe the koeo for the dpfe is supposed to be .5 to 1.2 volts ill check that also. Then I'm lost as far as testing other components for electrical trouble. EVTM would make a nice birthday gift for the little lady.
