Stereo options and ideas. Please Help!

I have a 1974 F100 which is now restored and pretty much all original. The truck never had a radio so there is no place for one and no antenna. I really want to keep the original look of the truck but would like to listen to music now and then. I dont know if there is anyway to have just a cd/mp3 player/disc changer for the truck which could be under the seat with speakers behind the seat, to avoid the hassel of an antenna? I have heard about a "secret" audio system by custom auto sound which has a cd changer and radio with speakers that can be hidden and works by remote control. It also comes with an electric antenna that is mounted inside the vehicle. First of all it cost alot of money- about $750 just for all the parts, secondly I have heard electric antennas give very poor reception. I really have run out of ideas that would give me a decent audio system, that allows me to keep the stock look and feel of the truck without costing a small fortune. Any ideas or advice please let me know. Thanks

You can hid most all of the stereo if that's your wish, it just takes a little more time and planning. You can mount an aftermarket CD player anywhere you wish, under the seat, in a console. Then there are invisible (actually semi invisible) antennas which are small dipoles that stick to the glass, they aren't great, but better than nothing.

A CD player and some speakers would get you started. You don't have to hook up an antenna. You could also go the route of Ipod/Amp/speakers or just get an inverter and use one of those Ipod docks.
